Ductal Carcinoma In Situ - DCIS - Information
Have you or someone you love been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) breast cancer? This site is dedicated to the prevention and healing of DCIS breast cancer in the least invasive, most natural ways possible.
Did you know?
- When someone is diagnosed with DCIS, she is usually given two weeks to prepare for surgery?
- New mammogram technology is allowing more cancers to be identified earlier, yet the recommended treatment is still surgery?
- Of the 200,000 yearly diagnoses of breast cancer, 25% or 50,000 are diagnosed with DCIS?
We will have much more information soon.
This website does not sell anything. But please feel free to support this website so we can continue our research - every little bit helps!
Can things you do every day contribute to or cause DCIS breast cancer?
If you wear a tight bra, use anti-perspirant, take oral contraceptives, take hormones, eat foods with preservatives, or overeat, you may be increasing your chance of breast cancer. See the links page for more details.
